Thinner Scale

Scale works great, seems to be very accurate, looks nice. My only complaint is a little picky--I wish they had made the brushed aluminum under the glass flat instead of wavy. I would have given it a fifth star if they had.This is my second Thinner scale--have had the other one for nearly a decade with no problems. Very good products from my experience.

Having owned a previous product from this company (and been very happy with its clean lines and accuracy) I looked forward to the arrival of this newer edition. (the older scale finally "hit the dust)I loved the idea of an all glass and metal scale as I am a "cleanliness nut" and wanted something that would be easy to maintain. It is a lovely, modern scale with very clean lines. The ease of usage and long base makes it a terrific scale for someone with "canal boat" feet (mine being a size 11AAAA) I never have to be concerned about my footing. The positive aspects of this product are that it looks lovely, accurately records weight and has easy, cleanable surfaces. The negative aspects, however are that it is heavier than my original scale and is slightly top heavy. If storing it in the upright position, one must take care that it does not flip over. The other problem is that it is very difficult to clean the metal surface under the glass. I am still searching for a brush that will clean this surface adequately.If the cleanliness issue and weight of the scale is not of concern, I do have to say that this product is pretty terrific and definitely worth he price paid.
