Good Vacuum

If you are looking for a really good, bagged upright cleaner then this one is for you. It has all the bells/whistles that vacuums priced more and less do, but what separates this one is the things you don't see/feel until you use it. The suction on this thing is unreal!!!-it's picks up things that our previous good vacuum never did. the price at $228 with free shipping, is the same as a $200 vacuum bought at a store from my point of view. Also the bags and belts for this thing are cheap/cheap. Before purchase i shopped and looked around at Oreck's and Dyson DC 41 animal and had the money to purchase any and all of those but after thought choose very wisely and although i expect this one to last a long time, if it fails us after 2-3 years then i could go buy another one and still have money left over with what the Dyson costs. If the Dyson was the same price as the cirrus i would have purchased the dyson but it's just way overpriced.. It really does pay to shop around on vacuums, a cirrus dealer priced me the CR 79 for $399+tax (OUCH)... thanks Amazon for helping out my wallet.

Vacuum

This is my second Cirrus and do like the product. I researched for sometime before deciding on the first Cirrus vacuum I bought. It had everything I wanted and needed for my purposes. The wand that comes out quickly to pick run along the baseboards, the floor option where the brush doesn't go around, and also the fact that the brush will stop when vacuum handle is put into the upright position. That was very important to me. It came with a long cord on the first vacuum but the second one came with 5 feet less cord which has caused me some problems. The parts are easy to replace which brings me to the bad part of this vacuum. Too many plastic parts. I do not use the vacuum for once a week housecleaning. I clean occupied houses and empty houses/apts. before a new tenant and sometimes I have 2-3 jobs per day anywhere from 5 to 7 days a week. My vacuums get a lot of use. I chose this vacuum over a commercial vac because most of those do not come with the options I mentioned at the beginning of this review. The suction is strong but there is a latch that can be opened to vacuum area rugs that need to be done with less suction. All in all it is a great vacuum and I will buy another one when this one gets worn out. I recommend it. Also, it's not real light but is not heavy like the Eureka I have for home use.

I shopped brick and mortar before purchasing this vacuum. A great macine. Well built with onboard tools for upulstary. It is easy to sore in the closet. Also, it has a stronmg motor..
