LOVE these mats!!!

It's hard for me to describe just how awesome these mats are! I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet in the past year and was unable to cook due to the pain of standing on a tile or wood floor. The Wellness Mats provide the perfect amount of support and cushion. They look great, they are very durable and easy to clean, too!We were looking for something to help my feet, but as a wonderful bonus, these mats are good for your back, hips, knees, etc. Cooking is a lot more fun when you aren't in pain! After owning a mat for 6 months now, it's time to add another mat to our kitchen. We just moved and I have the perfect spot for it!

Stepping on a cloud

This mat is wonderful. I had another mat that I thought was pretty nice, but this is way beyond better. I was always "catching" my feet on the other mat, almost tripping; I never do so on this, even tho it's almost twice as thick. I think it's the gentle slope of the sides. It also doesn't scoot around like my other one. I also like that it's a full 2 feet deep, so when you step back, you're still on it. Many other ones are only 20" deep. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to the durability, but so far everything has wiped up easily. I keep it in front of the sink most of the time, but when doing some serious cooking I move it over to the stove/chopping area. It's kind of heavy, even this small size, but it works for me. I think there are other mats out there that are more attractive, but none that work better, and that's really why you buy a mat like this -- for comfort.I gave it only 4 stars because of the color choices, which are limited and, at least for my kitchen, not great. I would have liked a medium brown -- something richer than the tan (which I bought), and lighter than the brown, which is pretty dark. If I had an island and the mat was behind it, I probably wouldn't care as much, but it's very visible in my u-shaped kitchen.

AT 71 YEARS OF AGE........AHHH!!!!!!.......COMFORT!!!!!!

Great purchase. My daughter had this small mat in front of her kitchen sink, when I visited her, and I liked it so well that I purchased the mat in a 2' x 6' size. It arrived in tact from Amazon..... securely packaged, and ready to unroll. I had read the reviews of customers and selected a Wellness Mat rather than another brand (even though it is a bit more pricey), because several customers had experienced other brands and said that the Wellness Mat was of superior quality and didn't roll up on the edges, as other mats seemed to do. It hugs the floor nicely, the dark brown color is perfect and doesn't show the dirt or soil as carpt does, and it is MUCH easier to clean. I couldn't be more pleased with the product, and I plan to order the smaller size of the same product from Amazon.
