Selling Used Mixer, DO NOT buy (updated)

After 8 months to date, Great Elect has sent me an email stating that they will offer me a free mixer if I remove this review. Their email quote "We would like all of our customers that have received mixers in bad condition to reconsider there thoughts on Preethi." which basically means there are bunch of other customers they have shipped this used mixer and now offering free mixer to get the reviews removed.I responded back to them that I dont care for their mixer and would rather leave the feedback as is. They came back again stating that they will make it "worth while" if I modify the review to say how good their customer service is1. They care for those of us who bought only because we have left them bad reviews2. They have quoted that Preethi as a company had shipped them these used/refurbished & uncleaned jars. Now they have resolved the packaging issues it seems.You would be better off begging someone to bring some mixer from India rather then buying it through Great elect. There are some stores in NJ selling it for $20 more and they provide support as well.My advise still is to AVOID GREAT ELECT AT ANY COST. If it was not for Amazon, I would not have gotten my money back from this shaddy company._________________________________We bought a new mixer but we were shipped used one. We see visible scratches on the mixer body. There are scratches on the bottom the mixer. The jars are used and cleaned. Powder dusts from the last usage is showing on the lid. There are scratches on the handle apart from its color shade due to its age.All associated parts are wrapped in a plastic cover to look authentic but "GREAT_ELECT/Great Elect Inc" has not realized that the items have rust on them. It is more like Great Cheats than Great Electronics. The box came opened, I knew since that moment that it was used, I took some pictures to send to Amazon and possibly to share the picture with other potential buyers.I dont know about you, but I am not interested in eating food from some one else's used plate. I happy that this order was fulfilled by Amazon which made the return easy, if it was from these cheats, I would end up paying for the return.These guys are possibly buying used mixer from India and selling it through Amazon. First of all the demo cd was missing and then it keeps on turning off when you grind urad and rice for dose idli etc very upset with this one

I am from India and blenders available in US are not as useful as mixers available in India. Indian cooking requires mixer. I tried to use blender in the same way as mixer in my first year in US. I broke 3 blenders (overheating). Then bought this. It has been over an year and no issues.
