Blown Away

I needed a 210 volt through the wall a/c for a NYC studio apt.with the 3 pronged electrical outlet. Not only can the unit make the approximately 320 sq. ft. apt. cold in a short period of time in a quiet fashion, but the directing vents work correctly. The remote control is awesome! You can set the temperature you like and the unit will turn itself off and on to maintain the temperature. This is great when sleeping, so you don't wake up in the middle of the night either freezing or sweltering. The remote is great if you live in a 2 level apt. or a loft. The frigidaire also has 3 speeds and an energy efficient mode. So far the unit is terrific.

Great Air Conditioner

I bought this air conditioner early in the summer and have been very happy with its performance during the hot months. Thru-the-wall models are hard to find, and this one fit my size specifications exactly. It has three fan speed settings and cool/energy saving/fan mode for operation. The room it is in is quite large and it cools it quickly, then I set it on "energy saving" and it remains cool. It is rather loud, as are most air conditioners of this type. I have seen a spike in my electric bill, as expected, but considerably less than I did with my old air conditioner, which is good. It arrived quickly, well packed, in perfect condition.
