So far, so good with a few minor flaws.

I'm going to echo the general sentiment that other reviewers have shared. This is a nice little wine cooler. I decided on this model for the size, the dual zone feature, and the wooden shelves.The cooler is the perfect size for the amateur wine collector, or for the person that just likes to store wine in the appropriate temperature. I have been a been storing wine bottles from my many wine tours throughout California for some time, and just now decided to get a cooler since I moved and have the room for it. I'm not a serious collector, and don't have more than a handful of nice wines...That's why this is perfect for my needs.So, here's the good and bad of the unit:Pros: Perfect size for my needs. Not many options at the 18 bottle range. The cooler is made of nice materials. It doesn't feel flimsy, and looks very nice in our living room (we have a very open space).I like the dual zone feature, especially since you can make both levels the same temperature if you go through a period where you don't have white wines. Special note**: A dual zone cooler is only necessary if you want to be able to serve red and white wine out of your cooler. To clarify, the proper storage temperature for ALL wines is 55 degrees fahrenheit. That's right, you can store both red and white in one zone, and do it properly. However, if you'd like to be able to pull both red and white wine right out of the cooler and serve it immediately, then you want the ability to store at cooler temps for white.I like the wood frames. They provide a nice look to the unit.The digital temperature gauges are really nice and convenient. I have had no problem getting the temperature exactly where I need it. I have read of others having issues getting the temp low enough. I think it's common sense. If the cooler is in extreme temperatures, it may have difficulty reaching optimal temperatures inside. This is a lower-mid-range unit folks. If you want to spend $1000+ for a wine fridge, your prospects may be better, but let me say, I've had no issues.It's quiet. This is right in my living room and I barely hear it. Now, there is a little bit of sound, but it's more like the sound a typical fridge makes. Now loud or annoying sounds.Cons: The two major cons are pretty simply explained. 1. The unit is too small for some bottles as mentioned in other posts. I could not store two of my nice bottles of wine because they were too long and I couldn't close the door. However, most of my bottles fit. Only one type did not.Second, the shelves are a little small for the unit, and can easily slip out of the guides. This is obviously not good if you have nice wines in the cooler and the shelf falls. The shelves should be a better fit, but I turn it to the side a bit when pulling it out, and no issues. It's up to you how much this would bother you. Again, this is a cheaper model. You have to expect some imperfections for the lower than normal price.

WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

Wine from the store is warm. Put the wine in the cooler and it is chilled. What could be easier? Of course there are "better" wine coolers that have dual doors and really cool lights. This one works just great.

Great Little Fridge! Well, not so little...

I've had this fridge for about two weeks now and it's been really great. I bought it for my office and mostly to prevent me from eating out, so I had a few criteria. First, it had to be fairly small footprint, but large enough to store a good amount of real food, such as leftovers, some fruit & veg, and materials to make snacks with such as PB&J. Second, it had to have a real compressor, one that will cool well below the ambient temperature as the office building gets quite warm in the summer and I really hate when food goes bad. Third, I didn't want the unit to give up a bunch of space to a can delivery system, since I don't drink usually have canned drinks around. So, that's how I ended up at the SPT, it's the only one I found that fits all these criteria. I'd never heard of SPT before buying this fridge and quite honestly, if it had the same features as all the other fridges I'd seen (researched for two weeks), I probably wouldn't have bought it. However, given that it had everything I was looking for, I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did.First, the aesthetics; it's a vertical rectangular shape, modestly attractive looking, basically it looks like a small black fridge with a stainless door. I was a bit surprised at the size, it's quite a bit taller than I was expecting and the black does makes it look a little monolithic. The unit actually looks bigger than it really is, I was shocked to find that it fits nicely under my desk. The Stainless Steel finish on the door isn't quite as polished as the vastly more expensive full-size GE fridge I've got at home, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looked, especially considering the price! This unit is solidly built and is surprisingly lightweight, which was great for moving it around the first day, figuring out where it should go. The door, as shipped, opens on the left, but it looked like a fairly simple job to switch sides (haven't needed to) and SPT included extra plastic inserts for covering up the holes should this be required, a nice touch. Door was protected with plastic film and all three shelves and the ice maker were taped down to prevent them sliding around.On to functionality; the fridge works! It got the four iced teas I put in it ice cold within only a few hours of being plugged in and I've got the unit set at 4, the factory preset median setting and it works great. Stuff down low in the fridge was kept nicely cold, the ham I put up near the icemaker had frost in the package, but the meat wasn't frozen. Note to self, meat goes lower in the fridge. The lower door shelf holds four Honest Tea bottles, but the wire holder swings out to hold bigger items. The top door shelf is a little shorter and has a fixed bar, so PB & J go up there. Inside shelves are made of white plastic-coated wire and well spaced. The freezer holds at least a trio of standard sized juice boxes; it's wide, but not very tall, so low items work best. One other extremely cool thing is, the energy consumption rating for this fridge is actually below the lowest range on the chart. This makes it extremely efficient, which isn't a factor for me, but I can see this being a plus for someone being challenged about its power consumption. Given how well it keeps my food cold, it must be very well insulated to achieve such low consumption.Things of note:1) This unit only has one leveling foot, at the front right corner. This is probably not a problem for most people, but my office floor is as flat as a Ruffles potato chip, so levelling the fridge required shims under the front left foot.2) Power cord is only about 5Ft long, once again, not a problem in most offices, but I would really have liked a longer one. Extension cord to the rescue.3) Unit isn't silent, but it's not loud either. Some people have complained about other fridges being loud, I don't find this one to be unpleasant, it's like low-level white noise in the background. If I get in early, I can hear the fridge, but once the office wakes up, it's inaudible.4) Unit came very well packed in an enormous box, strapped and taped closed. I was impressed, but I did have to lie the fridge on its side to get it out of the box.5) This hasn't been a problem, but the manual says that should the fridge lose power, it won't come back on automatically.

This is the best little frige

Watch Video Here: /review/R2QBMT13PWHGV0 This turned out to be the perfect refrigerator and I'll try to answer some questions about posted concerns.Noise - when you first turn on the fridge and perhaps the first 24 hours, the refrigerator will cycle quite a bit and the compressor will make interesting noises. not bad, just different. once the refrigerator has had it's break in period, the compressor only turns on every 30 minutes or so for a very short time - I don't notice it anymore and the compressor is not loud at all.How soon after the item is turned on that you can place things inside - within two hours the refrigerator will be cold - however, placing warm items in there will require additional times for the refrigerator's temperature to level out - it's been that way ever since they have been making refrigerators. The stainless on the door is beautiful and we are delighted that we spent the extra money - it looks great in our office - see video. Finally, it's by far the best unit for the money and we have no complaints.The video will provide an idea about how much can be stored inside - we have removed one of the shelves to leave more room for bottles and cans.

Perfect addition to our master bedroom

After my son was born, we wanted a mini fridge for the bedroom so that my husband wouldn't have to run downstairs to get milk out of the fridge in the middle of the night. It quickly got upgraded to also storing bottles of water and fraps. It does a wonderful job at keeping everything nice and cold. The interior space is rather spacious. We typically have around 12 fraps, 15 bottles of water and one or two bottles in the fridge at all times with room to spare.Some people have complained that this fridge is loud but I don't agree. Whenever the compressor turns on, of course you can hear it, but it's not very bothersome and doesn't wake up our baby despite being 5 feet away. The stainless finish looks good and doesn't seem to get fingerprint smudges which is great.I want to point out that the description of the product is incorrect. It mentions that it comes with a transparent vegetable drawer with a glass shelf which isn't true.Overall this is a great mini fridge at a very reasonable price.

Great vaccum

I didnt buy this from Amazon but in a store. Thought I would check out what the reviews were and saw that there were none. I like the fact that it is two in one because I have area rugs for a stand up vac and tons of bare floors for the canister. I was tired of having two vaccums. Great suction. Once you remember to turn the hose to get it on and off it is easy. It is bagless which is useful. There are a couple of drawbacks. DO NOT LIFT THE VAC UP BY THE WAND HANDLE. Lift it by the handle that was intended to be used for lifting. When you lift it by the want handle the handle decides it wants to turn. It is a remvable handle and it has a raised ball on it to slide into a slot. It will dislodge from the slot when you lift the vaccum up by the wand handle and get stuck. It is very difficult to get it back to rights. It is a loud vaccum but not overly loud. I do not like the fact that the attachment intended to be used with the canister portion hasn't a place to be stored. And dirt seems to stick to the cord. You will find that out when you go to wrap it up. It is a very attractive vaccum, easy to use, great suction, versitile.

Great for kids and pets!

I decided to get this vacuum after doing a lot of research. I didn't want to pay this much for a vacuum, but I have a six month old that's starting to crawl around on the floors and it was worth it to have peace of mind. I also have three cats so I wanted powerful enough to get all the hair up. I used it on all my carpets, my tile and hardwood floors and it is AMAZING. The canister option is what really sold this one for me because I have stairs and I hate trying to vacuum stairs with an upright. This was simple and it took me only about ten minutes to do the entire staircase. Switching from canister to upright is really easy, it takes less than a minute and you just push a couple buttons. The collection cup has a bottom release so it's easy to clean out. I also love that you can turn the brushes off if you want to, for bare floors. The cord is nice and long... I have no complaints about this at all. It's worth every penny.

This was a replacement for a Dirt Devil canister vacuum. Dirt Devil warranty through a repair center is a joke ended up throwing Dirt Devil canister in trash.Pros: This was recieved on shipping date. Does the job especially if you have pets. Use mostly canister section as I do not have rugs. So far am pleased how it picks up dirt and dog hair.Cons: Should have longer extension pole for tall people, clip on pole extension does break easily, however did call Germ Guardian Co and they took one off a returned item and sent it to me, can use if the white piece under black plastic clip didn't break. You do need to bang off dust filter deep in a bag or you are just putting it back in the air. Not good for those that have asthma.

A Decent buy, I would do it again.

I bought this as my first Kegerator, it came fairly quickly "about a week earlier than they had estimated". Setup was fairly simple, but had a few kinks. I had to reseat the tower hosing on the plastic ring it was mounted on as it was crooked, and the tap handle was missing. I was'nt very angry with the missing handle what I did was going to a local store and bought a "Shift Knob" that was really nice for my handle. The system came with the empty tank and the gauges I needed, I had to search alittle for a place that would fill that tank. When I did find a place to fill it it only cost about 15 bucks. so 25 bucks later I had a functioning kegerator. Overall I am very happy, who would'nt when they can have a nice cold draft at home?

Very Pleased

I read tons of reviews so knew what I was getting into and had some concerns from other reviews that turned out fine.- Temperature - It is true that the kegerator was not getting cold enough but like many reviews mentioned all you have to do is call or email Edgestar and they will send you a pdf explaining how to take the casing of the thermostat and dial it down colder. The first time I went too far and my lines were freezing so i just brought it back a little and perfect.- Assembly - When I was done I had a few pieces left. Not sure what they are for. Maybe if you want to convert to just a refrigerator with no tap. Biggest complaint with assembly was the bottom casing of the unit was slightly overlapping the hole that one of the casters screws into. I put a phillips head on there and tapped it with a hammer enough to shift it over. Didn't feel like taking the time to send it back over this and was confident I could remedy it myself but still a little disappointing the products actually go out like that.- Noise - At first I didn't notice any noise above the noise any other refrigerator makes. I know notice some louder noise at times when I guess the unit is kicking on hire to maintain the temperature. It doesn't bother me but I wanted to mention it. I am watching TV right next to the thing and the noise really isn't any issue- CO2 - The manual recommends up to 12 psi. I found that way too high and was getting wild beer. I start my keg more around 4-5 and then increase if necessary.- Keg sizes - I have read a few reviews noting that the unit will not fit a standard size half barrel. I cannot speak to that as I am using only for homebrewing and have corny kegs in mine. I did notice someone say that their corny keg isn't fitting vertically which I was surprised by. Mine fit fine. I am wondering if it has something to do with the tap. I just have the gas line in and beer line out attachments on mine.That's all the specific things I wanted to address and have seen in other reviews. I have had the unit for about 4 months now and am very happy so far. I knew getting into it I wasn't going to be using half barrels so had no concern about that and was confident I could get the unit colder which was no problem with the pdf Edgestar emailed me. I love being able to get cold draft beer at home and it saves me a ton of time from bottling all of my homebrew. Just remember to clean your lines regularly. I think this is a great value at the price it's listed. You can pay more and not have to deal with a few hiccups but I was glad to save some money.

Best Kegerator for the price

Easy set up. You will have to buy a european sanky (tap) is you want to buy some european kegs, but other than that, it is great. It comes with an empty aluminum tank for the CO2. A lot of places will exchange the tank instead of filling it. Make sure they exchange it with another aluminum tank. Steel tanks can give off a rusty taste.

Great Products, Delivery Needs Work

I purchased these a few months ago after scouring this site reading all the reviews for many different products. The curbside residential delivery was a huge let down. These are very heavy machines and I wanted to make sure that whoever was bringing them to my door would be able to get them inside. Installation is easy as long as they get them through the door. That was agreed so I made the purchase only to find out when they did arrive the driver said he was only allowed to move them to the back of the large box truck and it was up to me to get them down 5+ feet and somehow carry them up the four steps to my first floor apartment. I was so pissed I almost sent them back. This is a residential home which is not equipped with a truck dock. This lack of communication is exactly why I will never order an appliance over the internet ever again. Eventually the driver realized what had to be done and helped deliver the items inside. The boxes were in good shape but upon removal both had a dent on the bottom right side towards the front. At this point it would have been too much of a headache to do anything about it. Aside from the troubles the machines are working well and I am very pleased with the wide range of features and appearance. My advice would be buy this pair but do so locally.

With out a doubt the ' 'ONLY!' ' way to cook a Great Tasting Hot~Dog!!! Is with a Roller Grilling Machine.The Great Northern Commercial Quality 12 Dog 5 Roller Grilling Machine is perfect for a convinces store, home kitchen or office break room.Two separate heating areas for up to 12 Dogs or use just the front heating zone for one or two and use very little electricity.Easy clean up with just paper towels and water!I was raised to think poor when purchasing. Don't throw away money on cheap junk! Get What You Pay For!

Motor Died

Motor died on this one within about 2 weeks of use. I have a small retail store and it started working great, then one day it just stopped rotating. Followed all the maintenance recommendations, but it still failed.

Hot dog roller machine.

Arrived quickly and works great. It appears to have been dropped in shipping but I was able to get the bent leg straightened out so it sat flat on the counter top. It does get relly hot so you have to be careful to not touch the rollers when you have it heating up the hot dogs.

The absolute best you can get.

I have had my Health O Meter professional scale for almost forty years and it looks exactly like the one for sale here on amazon. I have always been a little weird about my weight....or maybe not. It's just that if I weigh 120 pounds, which I do in my dreams, I don't want to get on the scale and have it bounce down to 117 and then up to 124 and stick there, just because I moved a little while I was weighing myself. What good is that? I work hard to lose that 2 pounds, or maintain that 4 pound loss and I want to by gosh know exactly what I weigh. I had tried every kind of scale in existence at the time before I got my Health O Meter, and none of them gave me the same weight twice when I got on, then off, then on. No thank you. And they sure couldn't tell me if I weighed 119.25 or 120.75. Did I tell you I'm a little weird about my weight?Wish there was an option for six or seven stars.

Easy to set up

Watch Video Here: /review/R1GB2VN30BKYEF I was afraid the box would be too heavy, or awkward, to handle. I was afraid it would be difficult, or awkward, to set up. Wrong on both counts. There are two main pieces, the base and the pedestal. There are four nuts and a wrench. There is an instruction manual. Ta-da! Up and working. (My only problem was finding a screwdriver for adjusting the zero.) Model 400KL allows you to read weight in either pounds or kilograms, by rotating each of the two bars with the moving weights.

One really needs a balance type scale. Less expesive spring scales do not stay accurate. This one is a good one.

A machine for perfectionists!

I have owned this machine (8-cup) for over ten years and everyday when I make my morning cappuccino I love it more. You can spend more for a machine that measures the coffee, tamps it, pulls the water through and steams the milk for you, but you can tip the kids behind the counter at Starbucks and they'll do the same thing. Making espresso should be a little art and a little science and this machine an impeccable balance of the two. If you aren't the kind of person who takes joy in mixing the perfect martini, making a risotto that whispers with flavor, or whipping a meringue to impossibly tall peaks, this probably isn't the machine for you.The La Pavoni is for the person who will find tremendous joy in going to the lengths required to make a perfect cappuccino by hand everyday. (And don't bother using anything less than Illy Cafe coffee in it.)

30 years of service from my La Pavoni Professionale

I bought my La Pavoni in the summer of 1983 after high school. It was heavily used during college (especially finals week) and has made me superb espresso continually. This morning I made a spiced chai using it. I've been amazed with the quality of the unit. I unfortunately bought a model that had a brass and copper film that looked spectacular for about 8 months then began to peel off. It's now not terribly attractive but still pumps out amazing Java.I estimate I've saved over $25,000 on espresso drinks while maintaining a level of quality beyond what one can get at Starbucks and similar cafés. Being from Seattle, there are now (finally) cafés and baristas locally that are passionate (neurotic) about making excellent espresso and I can match them. I'm very happy with my Pavoni.

Could be a great machine

I have had this machine for a number of years, the upside is great coffee, downside are:1. Finish poor, rust soon appears in the crome, the only saving grace is that it is mostly occurs under the drip tray out of sight.2. It is too easy even after bleeding the pressure, to pop one of the seals when changing the coffee.3. Descaling can be a real pain.In short, when it works, great, but this isn't a low maintance product, a bit like old Italian sports cars
