Great system

I can iron cotton dress shirts without starch (if I want to), it's that good. With the C81 ironing board they make an efficient package. Make sure you can handle the amps. I needed to plug the iron/ boiler and the ironing board into different circuits (Boiler uses 1000w, the iron uses 800w and the ironing board uses over 800w).

Received i500 a couple days ago and I love it.Easy to use the steam is amazing.I went from rowenta iron to i500 cut my ironing time in half.I had fun with it I started ironing my sheets just to continue ironing.I also bought C81 vacumn ironing board it is also wonderful.You really need itwith this iron.It is very well made.You won't be sorry.

Too many repairs

I purchased this iron/boiler 3 years ago and have had nothing but repair after repair. Had to send the unit back to the manufacturer, located in Canada, ever try returning anything across the border?? It was leaking all over the seal was bad. I have had to return the iron 3 times for repairs and finally bought a new one. Had it for 6 months and had to send that to repair. I gave up, it has finally quit working all together. You would think that after spending $600 on a boiler unit you would at least get a few years out of it. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.
