Works great, very efficient

We use this dryer for a family of 5. It works great and drys as quickly as any other dryer we've had as long as we don't stuff it full. The clothes need room to tumble. The reason these dryers are much more energy efficient is two fold: 1. It uses less electricity to dry the same amount of clothes as a vented dryer. 2. The largest savings occur because it doesn't vent your home's interior air to the outside. You spend a lot of money heating or cooling your home in the winter and summer, and a vented / "normal" dryer pumps that conditioned air outside at a high rate. This dryer works by keeping the hot air inside the chamber, and then dehumidifies that air internally. The water is either pumped through a hose to the same drain that your washing machine does, or it has an internal holding tank that you can empty. It does not heat the room noticeably, even in the summer. Can't recommend this dryer enough, and no, I don't work for LG; just a satisfied customer that cares about saving energy / money.

Great Dryer For Size

Have had this dryer since 8-11 and works great. It has many different settings that allow for many different fabrics and load sizes. This unit can be used without a "drain" available as it will pump the water to a self-contained water tank. We have hooked up to an exterior drain (hose kit included) and this is nice. Drying times are a bit longer but still OK. Unit must be set on a solid surface (can be stacked on the washer)for the exhaust air to come out of the front of the dryer. Due to its size you will have to do smaller loads(no matress covers). I recomend this unit for smaller spaces.

Horrible

3rd time the dryer elements have failed on me. Maybe I just got a lemon but I'm just happy I have a good warranty.
