This air conditioner unit is just the right size for my master bedroom.Gets icy cold, 3 different fan speeds.Great price, great product so far.I would recommend.

have only been running it a month, was very nervous having not heard of the brand, and not being able to find reviews.....I have been running it about a month now, with no problems......so far, so good.......Its quiet, but the beeps are loud, if that bothers you. Doesnt bother me, but if I had babies, it might.

I find the Hanover HANAW06A serviced by Midea America Corp. to be a superb window air conditioner, and I highly recommend this air conditioner! Its compact and high-efficiency design is very quiet and powerful. It effectively cools a 250 sq. ft. family room that has a lot of windows and a home theater system, and it's doing a great job of keeping the room at 75 degrees while the outside temperature soars near 95! On those muggy mornings when the outside temps aren't so high the Dry Mode does a fine job in reducing the inside humidity level without turning the room into a meat locker. Efficiency wise, the Hanover HANAW06A is rated at 4.9 Amps to produce 6,000 BTUs! Couple this low amperage consumption with it's Energy Saver Mode and you have yourself a great, efficient machine. As for sound level, the TV sound only needs to be turned up 1db when on the low fan setting, and 2db and 4db when on the medium and high fan settings, respectively. In comparison, a new well-known brand name machine from the Big Box Home store was in the same window, and the TV volume had to be turned up 8db when only on the low fan setting. BTW, the packaging is well thought-out too, and is designed to collapse easily so it can be reused later for storage. The Owner's Manual explains how to remove the ac unit without cutting down the box.
