induction cooktop

This unit is very fast at arriving at cooking tempature and seems to hold cooking tempature well. However the induction heating area is quite small and only fits a 8" pan or pot. So it's impossible to cook bacon or even a large steak.

Served as our primary cooktop while remodeling our kitchen.

We really liked this cooktop...it saved our bacon when we remodeled the kitchen and made due with this cooktop (which is actually superior to the new gas stove) and an oversized toaster oven. Food gets up to temp quickly and turned itself off when the pot was removed. Once the kitchen was finished, we used the burner during a crab boil outside with great success.

Like it with limitations

I use it once in a while. Takes a long time to boil water, so use my gas stove for that.Good for bacon and eggs, etc. So, good, but not perfect. I do like the size and portability of it.
