This urn looks very nice no matter what type of gathering you have. The lid does get very hot though.

Price too high for quality

When this came it had numerous flaws. It even had a small dent. It operates on sterno which I don't like to use. I sent it back.

Pretty...but also, I am pretty skeptical about it.

If you've had your eye on this, then you must be looking for an urn that looks pretty but does the job. This one is pretty pricey. I was lucky to have gotten it cheaper than the original price. The price went down. Love that about Amazon! First, the urn didn't really fit on the stand. So, just make sure that it never goes empty or else it will tip over! I tried making the screws underneath loose or tight...either way, nothing helped. At first, the spout was leaking. I tightened it, then it stopped. I did do a test run on this to check if it would leak and it didn't. I think when it got hot, it loosened up a bit. So, check up on it when you are using this. I decided to warm up milk in this for my hot chocolate bar. At the end, the milk burnt on the area where the Sterno would be warming up the urn. So, I don't think I will be using this to warm up milk anymore as it burns the protein. I decided that I will just use this to warm up water. Bummer that this burns milk. I would have definitely bought a matching pair later.
