Good product and service arrived in poor condition

This replaced similar model with cooking sensor. Good appearance. Arrived from vendor with defective door. Required TWO (2) service calls before door was fixed enabling the machine to be used.However the GE Answer Center was very helpful and prompt arranging repair service.I expect the problem was caused by poor handling by the vendor or shipper.

Don't go near this microwave

I have had this GE microwave oven for 2 years, and its' interior is almost completely chipped and peeled off, exposing rust. The chipping started slowly, in just a couple of places, but rapidly deteriorated to the point that the door is involved, and is rusted at it's bottom inner edge. I have owned microwave ovens for as long as I can remember. I know how to clean and care for them. I have NEVER had one look as bad as this one does. I am replacing it ASAP.

Good, basic unit

This microwave is a basic device which does its job well. It is priced very competitively and arrived well packed and in perfect condition.My only criticism comes from a keypad which is a little hard to read. We keep our unit though in an under-counter cabinet. If it was on a counter top, there would be no issue.It has adequate power, and heats food evenly and efficiently.
