The new EnviroMate E3 is a powerful flexible and efficient cleaning device that is the natural alternative for those who seek an alternative cleaning and sanitizing method to using harsh chemicals. Steam deodorizes and sanitizes with heat and moisture; since the only ingredient required for the is water, cleaning your home or work place has never been safer, healthier or more environmentally friendly. Includes a 13 piece accessory kit (Made in Italy) these are superior quality tools including everything you need to get started is included. Just add water. Some cleaning tasks will require more steam some will need less. The choice is yours with the E3. A childproof locking mechanism is also standard. To make storage easier, the unit is equipped with a detachable, long life 7 ft. stainless steel steam hose. When the E3 runs out of water, the heating element will automatically shut off, and a light on the control panel will indicate it is time to refill the unit. Steam cleaning is much easier when you have lots of steam pressure. Not quite steamed

This steam cleaner left me not quite steamed. I expected a more powerful steam effect. The steam is about like what I get from my iron when I'm pressing shirts (which isn't to often). It gives a small burst of steam. I was expecting a much more powerful and continuous shot of steam.Jerry

Good product with some small problems

I've tried a few steam products, and in actual cleaning, this one performs very well. It had one small problem that caused me to return it. The buttons and nobs where you change the parts are very poorly designed. Almost every time I changed a wand or tool, I would pinch the skin on my fingers, causing me to bleed a few times. Eventually, I was just afraid to use the machine without getting hurt. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's a result of cheap design. I'm giving 4 stars because if they would just fix this one flaw, it would be an excellent product.

I'm a housekeeper and was hoping this would give me a better clean and help me be faster. It actually takes longer than just using it my traditional cleaning supplies. It's a bit bulky and semi uncomfortable having to use the handle for everything. I'm used to moving quicker with just a spray and towel. Tagging along a canister definetly slows you down some.Was surprised how wet the "dry" steam really is. It leaves surfaces pretty damp...hence the need for plenty of towels on hand. Even with the mop head you would need to change out your towels often due to the dirt it picks up (which is good) and/or how much "vapor" collects on it; especially when working with wood floors. On that note wish you could see how much water you have in the canister while using it to better manage your time and pressure using.Good product, good deep clean, but too wet (esp on glassy surfaces), bulky and cord annoyingly too short. On a positve I notice I'm not as tired or sore from all the srcubbing I normally do in kitchens and bathrooms thanks to the powerful steam and handy tools. Great on my back also and love knowing everything is sanatized without the side effects of chemicals.Don't think it's quite worth the $500 it cost since it inconvient to lug around, annoying to have to keep unpluging, frustrating how many towels I have to use and actually slows you down.Plan on replacing it with the Reliable Steamboy-1 mop $89 and their handheld steamer $99 (to tackle those scrubbing jobs) for about half the cost and hopefully half the hassle. There's also a handheld battery charged window cleaner vacuum not from Reliable(in either HSN or QVC for $60) I plan to add that to should take care of the wet towel problem. Hope this helps!
