WONDERFUL Innovia Paper Towel Dispenser

I received this as a gift. It is absolutely wonderful. It dispenses the paper towel one at a time or more and if you don't want them all it will automatically roll them back into the unit. It is so handy when you hands are wet or dirty, you don't have to touch anything. I would recommend this to everyone.

surprisingly useful

I've had this paper towel dispenser for about six months now. And I have to say, it's a surprisingly useful little thing to have......no more grabbing the towel roll with dirty or wet hands, no towels falling off onto the floor, you can grab a towel while washing the dishes without drying your hands first, etc.One thing to be aware of..... When it's working properly (which it usually does), the dispenser retracts the extra paper towel after each use and stops. But occasionally it misses the mark and pulls the towel all the way back through the roller, at which point it stops working. (This has happened a couple of times so far.) Some tips, in case that happens:(1) There's a sensor on the inside upper part of the device, just behind where the door latches. (There's a description on the innovia website somewhere....I think it's in the FAQ.) Occasionally the sensor gets dusty and starts missing the edge of the towel when it retracts, which is why it pulls too far in. If that happens, just open it up and blow on the sensor. Or better yet, a quick burst from a compressed air can cleans it off nicely.(2) I'm not completely sure about this (I haven't done controlled experiments), but it seems like it maybe does better with plain white towels than towels with a bold pattern. Perhaps the pattern confuses the sensor a bit? **UPDATE**: Since cleaning the sensor off (with a compressed air can), I've had no problems at all, even with patterned rolls. So I guess blowing the dust off the sensor is really the key here.Anyway, it's expensive for a towel holder. But assuming it keeps working for years, I'd say it's worth it, for the convenience.

Absolutely love this. Got one for christmas and bought this one for my son!!! I plan on getting one for at least two other people for Christmas. People who come to my house have always commented on it.
