Great Machines

I love these machines. They showed up and were undamaged which was my first concern. They washing machine is very heavy so hopefully you have some help to move it. Installation was easy (we had to flip the doors which was also fairly easy). They look great. The spin cycle is extremely fast which helps to get out most of the moisture. They have several specialty cycles like pet beds, jeans, towels, etc... You can have the cool led lights on while they machines run their cycle which is also kinda cool. We sat and watched the washer run it's first cycle just because it was new and exciting to us lol. The fast dry cycle on the dryer may dry a very small load in 14 minutes but I wouldn't count on that for anything else. The pedestals are nice and match great. Overall, I love these and I would recommend them.

When I researched washer dryers I thought some of the reviews for these machines were a little over the top. I mean people talking about liking to watch their laundry wash...come on. But I am a believer now from the first load which was about 2 months ago. The capacity of these machines is amazing. What used to take me 6 loads takes me 3-4 now and they are so fast. The clothes come out really clean and I deal with a lot of stains (I pre-spot with Grandma's secret spot remover and use the HE tide). They are really quiet. I like that I can pause the load and add a forgotten item. They are really easy to use. I have not even read the manual yet and I am the kind of person who always reads the manual and still plan to some day.My aunt came over and told me all the things she does not like about her front loader including very slow, confusing buttons, door s that make it hard to get clothes from washer to dryer, hard to wipe seal, buttons where the kids can mess with them, can't add clothes ones it is started... and I have to say that Electrolux has fixed every problem (the pedestal height fixes the kid messing with buttons). From reading other reviews I learned to wipe it down the washer door and seat after the last load of the day and I always leave the washer door open. Note the door is either all the way open or all the way closed it wont just stay slightly open unless propped which is not a problem in my laundry room but it might be in yours.I ordered this on line because I could get it with the pedestals for the same price as I could have gotten the machines alone locally. That said the washer did arrive with a substantial ding but it did not seem to affect the use. We called the vender about the ding and they are supposed to be crediting us a little money back. About the pedestals- I thought they would be good for storage which they are but they come with removeable/adjustable divides so I store stuff on the sides and use the main bulk of it for sorting laundry. Love it- no longer do I have piles on the floor and the kids know which is dark and light and it is easy to see when I have a quorum for a load. I also like that it raises the machine up. I was never bothered by reaching down to unload my last machine but I have found that with this machine I just place my collapsible laundry baskets for each member of the family on top of the washer/dryer. I fold straight out of the dryer and distribute to the correct basket-done! No more carrying it to the bed to forget about and have to fold before I can sleep each night.The installation on your own was not the easiest thing in the world and it stretched my husband who is amazing but not necesarily at handyman kind of things. He just kept focused on the money he was saving and barreled through. Getting the machines on the pedestals and then upright is not for the week of heart or body but when managed it together and used a dolly to get it in the house. My husband made two trips to Lowes to get a vent hose and the right power plug. All in all it took him about a day to install.

It was a great price. They work great and look fantastic. I like the steam feature on the dryer did help get wrinkles out of clothes.
