What a joke... doesn't cool enough

I purchased this one because of the "SUPREME COLD". This was to replace a fridge I had for about 10 years that slowly went from low 30's to now low 40's. It is still better than this fridge and I got rid of it already. When it got in I got it situated in the place it would be and left it there for 24 hours. Plugged it in and put a thermostat in it. Waited another 24 hours and it was at 48 degrees (coldest setting). I put my beverages in there and came back another 24 hours... Still about 48 degrees. Today it is about 75 degrees out and it still shows about 48 degrees.Save your money and don't but from this false advertising company. I hate companies that do this. There description says (and I quote) "Low 30s - mid 50s ºF". That is a complete lie. I will never purchase anything EdgeStar again.

Not cold enough

I bought this fridge so I could have an ice cold Diet Coke waiting for me at the end of my long work days...I have a few complaints about this product. First, it's noisy. Second, while it does get things cold enough to be considered "cold" it does not get them ice cold the way I was hoping.

Many of the reviews accurately state the issue this model has with cooling. We followed the setup directions (24 hours empty on coldest setting), and even with the temperature set at the coldest, could not get the temperature below 50. Through a bit of Internet research, my husband found information on Edgestar's website that provided a tutorial on how to fix this issue. Any cooler and we risk freezing, but it's nice to know we can go colder if we need to. The fix can be completed with a screwdriver in around 10 minutes, but be careful not to break anything since it will not be covered.My husband summed up the issue and information on the website perfectly when he said,"Hello customer, here is a list of all the things you will find wrong with your cooler.You will have to fix it yourself. But if you break something doing it, it's your fault and just throw your cooler away because even we won't be able to fix it!"
