Everything is there

This is basically a parts kit. Everything is there should you wear out or break the very sturdy mill. It's a little pricy, but it comes in a nice case that keeps the parts together.

Contents are fine, but wooden box arrives damaged.

1st order of this kit arrived with contents fine and the wooden box heavily damaged. The packing on this first shipment was OK to marginal, and the box contents are heavy, so I was not suprised that shipping abuse caused the damage. I returned the kit very easily through normal Amazon methods without a hitch ( thanks Amazon- for a very simple and pain free return). I ordered a second kit after recommending addition packaging when returning the first. The second arrived in better shape, but still lightly damaged. It was packed very well, but again, the contents of the kit are quite heavy and the wooden box fabrication is not up to the strains of transport handling, even with the good packing. The damage, this time, was easily repaired with a bit of wood glue required to reattach an inner box wood block divider/spacer. I kept the kit and am happy with it. Bottom line, a good prospect but expect a bit of shipping damage. If the damage is too bad, just return and order another. Hope this helps someone!

Expect more from a quality product

I received this item on time and all of that but the steel grinding plates were rusted when I opened the package. I find this to be pretty bad for something that is going to be used on a food source. I will be able to use parts of this product but not the steel grinding plates. Another problem I had was when I opened the box little steel bushings or something fell out of the box. I didn't open it wrong either, had it sitting flat on the counter.
