the color is very nice, and it is extremely comfortable for pouring. Also it is not too heavy. Very good product.

I had my first Alfi for 30 years. It finally quit keeping hot and cold and began to flake off outside.I love this new one It is a little larger for that extra cup, and keeps my coffee hot for hours! The red coloris a nice touch in my kitchen.

Expensive but does the job

while a bit expensive, this lacquered aluminum carafe turned out to be worth it. A bit more fragile than my existing plastic bodied vacuum bottle carafes, but fare more attractive and definitely holds in heat longer. don't expect to have hot coffee or other beverages more than for a few hours, definitely not all day. you can extend the heat holding by pre-warming with hot water before use. really love the screw-on lid that always ends up in the correct position no matter where you start - this had been a pain with other carafes I own. one note: residual beverage can get caught in the lid stopper - good idea to depress the lid lever and rise through the spout and through the stopper
