Nice fridge, but it's a bit noisy and never stops running!
By Christopher J. Grossman
This is my second wine refrigerator from Wine Enthusiast. I previously had a 28 bottle one with stainless steel frame (and exterior handle) -- also available here on Amazon. However, the first one had the fans stop working after about five years. I was a bit disappointed that it failed as I did expect to get several more years of life out of it. I still might have it repaired, but in the meantime I figured I might as well get a new one for extra space. I went with this new model as it was the same price, but at the time was the only one eligible for Prime shipping which saved me $100.As for the new fridge, it looks great. Very sleek with a modern look -- and actually fits in better with my furnishings in my living room area. Interior is pretty much identical to my previous fridge, and operation is the same. I actually was 100% satisfied upon the initial setup. The downside came after I had it running for a few months -- it started to be noticeably louder than my previous one. I had put the fridge in the exact same location as my old one, with plenty of room around it to breathe. However, I "notice" this one much more than the old one -- mainly because it never seems to shut off! No matter the temperature I set it at, or how cool my house is, the unit does not ever seem to go in standby mode. It's as if it never can reach the set temperature.I did end up calling customer service, and unfortunately appeared to get the most disinterested person in the call center. I described the issue I was concerned about and was advised to unplug the fridge for 45 minutes and then plug it back it. The guy never asked for what type of unit I had, or offered what I should do if that did not work. It was clear that my service experience was not a concern to him. Nevertheless, I did try his suggested repair twice -- both with no luck. So, in the end, the unit does look nice and does work (the wine is chilled to the appropriate temperature). However, the continuous running and more audible noise (compared to my previous fridge) are both a headache. Plus it concerns me that the unit may not last as long if it's having to struggle to maintain the temperature all the time.Of course I could always call customer service again, but I don't have too much hope there...

Great wine fridge/cellar
By C Church
Very quiet, works very well. Doesn't hold temperature when loosing power, but since it's more of a cellar than a standard fridge, it resets to its lowest setting (55'), which is perfect. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is not having wooden faces for the drawers.

Seems Good After 2 months
By Richard Kupersmith
So far no problems. Thermostat is stable and it runs quiet. The shelving is only average quality and the racks are tight. An Oregon Pinot Noir in a wide bottom bottle will not fit.
