Product Description
The Original SUNHEAT SH-1500, with Made in USA cabinetry, provides safe, soft, comfortable infrared warmth for any area of the home or office, up to 1,000 sq ft. This portable, supplemental, 1500 watt electronic infrared heater features a 5 year parts and labor warranty, a simple set and forget thermostat, lifetime washable filter, and heavy duty 12 gauge power cord. It cannot start a fire, is safe to operate anywhere, all the time, even around children and pets but best of all it will slash your heating costs. The infrared heater was first developed and sold in the early 1980's using four flood lamps and a flat piece of sheet metal as the heat sink. SUNHEAT International distributed this USA made product for many years before the manufacturer sold out. The mass marketing company, now selling the self proclaimed famous infrared heater, immediately started having a plastic product built overseas. In 2006, SUNHEAT went back to the drawing board and the original infrared heater was upgraded to six quartz infrared heating elements housed in 24 ounces of copper creating more even heat. Upgrades to the SH-1500 included a fan that lasts over seven times longer than any of its competitors, solid hardwood tops, military grade wiring and an appliance grade 90 degree plug among others. Soon after, the very first infrared electric fireplace was engineered, designed and developed by the family owned and operated Nebraska SUNHEAT team. While not brought to the big city by horse and carriage or even by Amish, each SH-1500 is quality control checked in Central City, NE and placed in an all wood (no plastic) made in USA cabinet. Works as described

Perfect for gently warming a room that central heating has shortchanged. Fan is quiet. Old-fashioned analog thermostat is adequate, don't need electronics in everything. Unobtrusive enclosure. I've reached the Amazon 20-word minimum, enough said.

great product, easy to work and creates good amount of heat for such a small heater. I am using in garage so I can workout in the empty space and works perfectly
