The Noisiest Microwave Oven We Have Ever Had
By mytruthquest
Tired of dealing with the peeling paint in the interior of not one, but two high end stainless steel microwave ovens, I set off to find a stainless countertop microwave oven with a stainless steel interior as well.To my surprise, it is virtually impossible to find one with these qualifications and the Summit brand was the only one I could find.Beggars can't be choosers so I sacrificed space as well as some standard features such as a built-in clock, turntable, etc. for the 'luxury' of having a microwave oven that I could clean without worries.Overall, this oven does its job and is a dream to clean but it is a tad smaller than I would like. It also makes a loud clunking noise each time it starts operating that is sure to startle the most calm, cool and collected person. And yes, I do miss the clock, the turntable, defrost feature...sigh...

DISAPPOINTED
By Lori Axelrod
I just got this in, and come to find it doesn't have a turnable, and suggests that you rotate during cooking.... which just seems so wrong after you pay a few hundred dollars. Also, they make it difficult to actually work. All the other microwaves I've had, you just take it out the box, and there you go...... you use it. This one, I have to try to figure it out, and have settings to program. Not liking this at all so far. Very disappointed!!

It's okay
By Deonsdreaming
The microwave is in a class all by itself, and with that said, it's not that great of quality. It's loud and like the other user said, it makes this clunking sound when started. It makes you think something is loose or broken inside. Also after cooking anything for a few minutes, the microwaves exhaust fan keeps running, leaving you very nervous and thinking it's still sending out radiation while the door is still open or something. The are only three screws holding the cover on the frame. Three screws! Seems very odd. Why not two on each side? Trying to save 5 cents? The light bulb lasted about two weeks, and I'm not sure it can be replaced without doing some basic electrician work. Don't look for any help from the owners manual either on how or what type to replace it with. A Google search turns up nothing. I sent an email to a company employee asking for some basic help about the lightbulb.... I didn't get an answer yet and it's been a few months...
