Excellent Heated Matress Pad

Excellent construction quality, sturdy with minimal shifting when appropriately sized to the bed. Firm, but not stiff. Silent in use, red backlight on the control unit indicating that the pad is being heated is unobtrusive to sleep. Despite the single-star review posted by another reviewer, TheraMat products are quite possibly the very best heated mattress pads on the consumer market today and are certainly one of the more expensive brands to own. Plug-and-play simplicity. I have two of these pads (both Queen) and just ordered a King model off Amazon. Steam cleaned with a Ladybug TEKNO 2350 every month (the only recommended way to clean the pad). Sports two individual plug-in controls, one for him and one for her. I usually never have to set the heat level above 2-3 in 60F (ambient) night time weather. YMMV. Less expensive to operate than a central furnace (gas + electricity) running through the night. Available in the Los Angeles region at retail stores in Koreatown. Only major grip is its relatively high initial cost of purchase. Can be a bit cumbersome to move/relocate due to its size and weight. Requires nearby 110-120V electrical outlets, preferably one located at each side of the bed. Duvet cover is recommened for use above sheets to extend the life of the heavy-duty cotton cover, else the pad can be tucked under sheets without worry.

My family has been using this products for years. Even in California it gets pretty chilly at night time during winter season. Only this product get us get thru the night without getting cold or sick. This blanket also eliminate the bad electronic wave that makes you dizzy and weak.This is must have item for cold winter night.
