Product Description
The factory original Samsung Aqua-Pure Plus Water Filter (DA29-00012B) is used in refrigerators by Samsung, Kenmore and others. The DA29-00012B filter creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice. This filter replaces DA29-00012A. Features: Original OEM product Easy installation and operation Helps reduce chlorine taste and odor Helps reduce contaminants found in tap water and improves its quality Tested by NSF International against Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine taste and odor and particulate Tested by NSF International against Standard 53 for the reduction of lead, cysts, turbidity and other chemicals and impurities Installation Instructions: Open front cover of the refrigerator filter housing in the upper right corner of your refrigerator compartment Remove the old cartridge by pushing in on the cartridge - it will eject with a clicking sound Insert new cartridge by pushing it into the housing until it clicks. Close the front cover of the refrigerator filter housing Flush the refrigerator water system after replacing the water filter cartridge. Sputtering may occur until air is purged from water line and filter Reset water filter status display - replace filter every 9 months.

Superior Performance

Simply stated, these original Samsung filter replacements are the best available for my Samsung fridge model. Any noticable hint of chlorine, other chemicals and that tap water taste and odor is removed, providing you with just what you need and want: crisp, clear, excellent tasting water. I've used both these and the "green" filter replacements available for sale here at Amazon, and there is absolutely no comparison! The "green" filters actually make the water taste worse, and they leaked massively every time I installed one (after following the directions to the letter of course)!Why only four stars? While these do a much better job of delivering pure, clean tasting water than those "green" ripoffs, they don't actually purify water, and obviously, that's a goal worth shooting for. The only amount of flouride and other imputities I want in my water is none, and these can't make that claim. Still, they are the best option available for now. Until that better option becomes available, avoid those "green" pieces of junk, trust me on this one, and get these instead. They really do work well.I hope some of you will find my review helpful in making a better informed purchase, and I surely hope none of you ignore my warning about the "green" filters - oh how I hate them! Aqua-Pure Refriderator Water Filter for Samsung refrigerator/freezer

This product is no longer available locally. It works just fine and is required to operate my fridge. After phoning Samsung, I found the DA29-00012B can be used in the same fridge as the DA29-00012A.
