Better than hands and knees!

I have had the Thane H20 Mop Ultra for several months and have used it at least once a week, sometimes more, since we purchased it. I have not had the problems that some of the other reviewers have had. It did puddle a little the first time I used it, but the instructions say to expect that. It has not done that again. It cleans the floor very well and if there is something really stuck on, I go over it a few times and it comes up. Here are the pros, cons, and suggestions for use:Pros:No chemicalsWith comfort taken into consideration, better than hands and knees cleaning (which was previously my preferred method because it cleans better than any mop)Doesn't take very long to clean my kitchen floorCons:The microfiber cloths come off if they get too wetYou have to move rather quickly to prevent the heads from getting too wetYou have to have the mop head at an angle or else it comes off the floor when you're pulling it back toward yourselfSuggestions to make it work well:Wash your mop heads in free and clear detergent (no color, perfume, etc.), no fabric softener, and line dry.DON'T ADD ANYTHING TO THE WATER TANK BUT WATER (like the instructions say!).If possible, wash the heads in a hot wash as soon as you're done so the dirt doesn't dry on there.Wash your floors rather frequently--if the floors get really dirty, it's harder on the mop (though it will still do a great job, in my opinion).If you treat your mop well and follow the directions, it should work fine. It's not fair to treat it however you want and then write a bad review when it doesn't perform perfectly! :)

HORRIBLE MOP - BEWARE!

I have never written a review before, but I felt I had to with this one! I bought this mop 2 years ago and have only used it a few times because every time I try it I get frusterated all over again. I have been on the search for the best mop out there and this seemed to be the answer - WRONG!! The pad doesn't stay on the machine, it slides right off each time I use it. My husband has tried tightening it several different ways, but each time after a few minutes it slides off again. Plus when you go to put it back on it's HOT because of the steam. It takes SO much longer to mop my floor with this mop. Now when it works, it does a pretty good job, but you have to hold it in place for at least 15 seconds on hard spots to get them clean. The cord is constantly getting in the way as well. I do like the hand held steamer to clean other things, so that is why I kept it, but now after having it 2 years and only using it a handful of times, the steam stopped working!! SERIOUSLY!!! I am SO disappointed in this product. What a waste of money. I would NOT recommend this mop to anyone or buy it ever again!! Try the good old Liberman Wonder Mop from walmart, you can wash the head of the mop so it stays clean between uses. It's so much better than this one! DO NOT BUY the H2o ultra!! I wish I had found the negative reviews before I wasted my money!

I ordered the mop for my wife directly from their website, but no one will see my review there. I am sure they will just remove it. Anyways, I will start by saying this mop is the biggest piece of junk ever made! It is not at all user friendly. Of course since it is a mop that is what we tried first, using it as the mop. It stuck to the floor, didn't clean anything and just kept puddling. I tried to turn it off and to no avail it stayed on. I am all about second chances so I tried it in the shower, did absolutely nothing but pull the sealant out of the cracks in the tile. The worst part is that I went to return it and they told me I was going to be out shipping and handling which was over $40. I got my return number and sent it back. The return postage cost me $25 to be back. I paid about $170 for this thing and lost $65 on postage. I would not recommend this product to anyone. If you buy it after readiung this review, you are crazy! I am not exaggerating at all. You have been warned! I would give it a no star but it would not let me.
