2Was surprised at the flaws
By DLC
I just bought this machines days ago. Either I got a lemon of a machine or this was a poor design. I did a white load with bleach, per instructions in the little pull out drawer where you add detergent, etc. The next batch of clothes that's was colored got bleach stains on them! This machine does not add enough water to properly clean clothes...the clothes are only as wet as if you used a misting bottle on them. Also, the detergent dumps directly onto the dry clothes before the water is added. With so little water I don't know how they can be cleaned properly or how the detergent can be rinsed out and there is no way to add more water. No matter what size load I did, it never made the clothes very wet...there was never any water splashing around just wet clothes being slapped around the drum. One wash I redid with no detergent because they did not seem clean and smelled of the detergent...the special HE style that you have to use with this machine. after each wash, there was quite a bit of water in the door gasket and in the detergent drawer...I had to empty out the drawer and the gasket had to be wiped down. I dont need a washing machine that gives me MORE work. In fairness, the machine was easy to use and held alot of clothes but what good is that with the above limitations. I going to go back to the top loader.

2Think twice about a front-loader
By A. Sonnentag
We have had this washing machine for 3 years. We wash about 10 loads per week (family of 4). It washes well, but I am disappointed at how quickly it started to smell of mold and I can't seem to get it out. This is common for front loaders apparently. It has started to make a strange noise on the spin cycle and the repair service told us a bearing was going. He told us that we were better off just buying a new washing machine. This time I will go with a HE Top loader.

5very economic, way too ecomomic way to wash your clothes
By SweetHubby
why whirlpool? we love all the mechanical but how it function.pro: quiet, high speed spin, very nicely washed, i can say this whirlpool is not the one you see yesterday, they have gone much better at electronic wise.con: use too little wateryes, your cloths will barely soakup with water no matter in which cycle. i ending up pouring more water manually, whoever invented this doesn't know how to properly wash clothes.
