poor reliabilty

I bought this unit in April 2012, at my local Costco. The unit looks ok and was easy to set up. The capacity is less than 140 bottles, I was able to fit 120 bottles, mostly typical Cabernet bottles and a few Pinot bottles.The unit itself is fairly loud, a lot louder than I expected and loader than my full size Sub Zero refrigerator. The unit worked well for about 14 month. About a month ago I noticed burning odor coming from the back of the cooler, and about a day latter, it stopped keeping the set temperature. I called Vinotemp and was informed by customer service that it is warrantied for one year only. Vinotemp informed me that I can call any appliance repair company to have it fixed.When you buy a refrigerator or any other durable appliance, you expect more than fourteen month of use out of it
