Very Nice Popcorn Popper
By moneyball2002
I choose this popcorn popper because I wanted to eat healthier popcorn without the hydrogenated vegetable oil, which contains many trans fats that after eating this kind of popcorn every night (while watching a movie on my big screen), my chest started to have pains, so I needed to replace the way I prepared popcorn for health reasons. Consequently, I bought this popcorn popper and I now use a Blend Of Natural Vegetable Oils (Soybean And Olive, Canola oil) in this popcorn popper, when I am popping my generic popcorn (about 1.22 a bag), so, after I season my popcorn with salt (to my liking) and a 1/4 of a teaspoon of J- - fy popcorn seasoning that I buy online, my popcorn is just as good, as the popcorn they sell at the Theaters. The thing you have to remember with these popcorn poppers, when the pops start slowing down, press the stop button (the red button to the right) to avoid popcorn from burning on the bottom of the pan. Also, remember to, quickly, flip the flipper with the red knob, as soon as it is done, to pour out any remaining popcorn inside the pan, sometimes, it can be half full with popcorn. After some practice, you should get the hang of it. Tip: buy a Roasting-Brush (the brush looks like a painting brush), so you can use it to clean any popcorn icicles, left behind in the popping pan or to use to remove any small bits of popcorn on the bottom of the pan. I would recommend this popcorn popper machine.

I don't like it.
By Donald E. Cullins
Did a very poor job of popping the corn and the taste was very poor. I purchased fresh popcorn and it still had a poor taste. Also the ad stated the side were temper glass and I don't think they were.

Not worth the $$$
By PMSD47
Popcorn does not stay warm. Light seems to be just for light, not warmth. Lots of popcorn does not pop and popcorn is sometimes kind of gummy, not crisp. I have tried two different kinds of popcorn, two different kinds of oil and just ordered a third kind. Plastic windows scratched easily using a scrub sponge. I have also tried letting it heat for longer than the recommended time, used more oil, less oil. I use it almost every night so have tried many different ways to try to make better popcorn. Very disappointed.
