HealthOMeter 2842KL (Health Meter) Low Profile Platform-Medical Veterinary. Healthometer's Low Profile Veterinary Scale model 2842KL uses highly sophisticated microprocessor technology and can be used for humans or veterinary purposes. Each precision instrument is designed to provide accurate; reliable and repeatable weight measurements and features that make the weighing process simple; fast and convenient. The actual weighing is performed by motion-sensing weighing technology; to determine the weight of an active human or animal. The weight can be displayed in pounds or in kilograms. The scale includes specially designed removable rubber mat for easy cleaning. The unit can be operated using its AC power adapter or by 6-C cell batteries. Special needs patients require our Pro Plus series of high capacity scales. Our handrail; chair; wheelchair; and stretcher scales take accurate weight readings of limited mobility or wheelchair-bound patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Our large platforms accommodate range of wheelchair sizes. Folding capability coupled with platform wheels allow for easy storage and transport of the scale to the patient. Adult Day Care

Making sure the legs were level were the only issue we had during set up.SarahCare Adult Day Service has many persons with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke and Parkinson's.As the diseases progress, the stability of getting on a standard MD scale is difficult.
