Easy to install, gives great tasting water

We installed this to treat our well water. The taste of the water has improved significantly. It was very easy to install and seems to be very easy to maintain. We are so happy with it that we are going to get another unit to put in our cottage. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about the quality and safety of their drinkinng water.

Our water comes from a well. We're putting our house up for sale. To put our house on the MLS listing service that Realtors use, there is a form required that proves you have good water. It's a required form. For folks with city water, this is not a problem. So, we ordered this ultraviolet light filter made by Viqua. . We had a plumber install it, took an hour or two. We had the water tested. Our local utililty company did that for a small fee. The water tested perfectly pure. No bacteria. Not one. No coloform. No E. coli. So I'm happy and I recommend this filter. By the way, our plumber suggested putting a bypass so you still have water if for some reason you have to get the filter serviced. We also had him put in a check valve, so when our well pump stops for some reason, all our water doesn't flow backwards out of the house and possibly damage our water heater.
