Product Description
Air Conditioning Systems are Split Systems which consist of the outdoor condenser and the indoor Air Handler (blower, fan coil). This system as sold provides cooling only. Adding heat strips to the air handler (sold separately) can provide heating if desired. The systems come pre-charged with environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant. Includes outdoor condenser only. Copper lines and any other accessories are sold separately. Please consult with your licensed HVAC contractor to ensure system is correct for your installation.

Great unit

I have this unit in my mobile with a central gas heating unit. In Az. it gets up to 120. You`ll need to get this through a local highly trained tech. The top contractors now recommend Rheem. The housing on Rheem is larger than other brands. It seems this will allow for better cooling and give more airflow but that`s just a guess. Also more room to work on it for the tech. Check Consumers Reports and the top web sites for the best units. Rheem is there. When you purchase a heat pump you get a combination heating unit and cooling one. An a/c is just that. It has a separate heat source and in my case a gas heater inside my home. Contact your local contractor and discuss the best one for you.
