Could use some work...

I've had this chair for 10 months. It took a while to put together, but that's okay. Wasn't overly troublesome I couldn't imagine it being possible to make it any more simple. I think it's comfortable, and I like it. I weigh much less than the maximum capacity and thought it would be able to hold me no problem. Apparently, I was mistaken. The gas lift and seat plate broke after 7 months. I was able to get them replaced for free via their customer support. However, 3 months later it happened again. It appears to be a very weak solder joint. I also had a problem with the headrest falling apart and a small piece of metal poking through the side of the seat. If it weren't for their great customer support I would probably give them a bad rating due to all of this. However, they have been both willing and quick to help me. They have quickly sent me replacement parts every time I have asked without any hassle.

Really Sturdy and comfortable work chair

The Commodore II is one of the best modern office chairs I have used. I come from the old school when it comes to executive type office chairs. High Back, no pneumatics, etc. But, this chair really changed my mind. It is stong and sturdy with great rollers, excellent pneumatics and good firm feel. It is not fancy with a lot of adjustments, but it is very well designed and executed. Highly Recommended, especially for larger people. Also, the delivery speed was excellent and the customer service was great. The assembly took about 30 minutes with help from another person.

Chair was good with a few Issues

To start i'm 6'5" about 280.Chair in general fits well, but even at its lowest seat setting my feet just make it to the ground.Seat cushion is nice and thick, previous chair I owned was like sitting on the board beneath it.Arm rests are at the correct height but th chair does sit rather high in general, most desks may not accomidate it if especially if you use a keyboard tray.Head rest is nice, but sits a little to far back for my taste, the recline ability is short, but good enough for my needs.Seat back is a little short for me (sits about at my shoulder blades) but once it wears in a little shouldn't be an issue.Base is very sturdy, edges are a little sharp, carefull putting it together on hard wood floors or suraces that may scratch.My biggest issue with the chair is the gas cylinder does not stay where I lock it, when I sit it goes all the way to the bottom position and when i get up it goes all the way to the top position, I have contacted the company and they are sending me a new lower half of the chair, but wont be here for a few weeks due to back order. Hopefully this is not a common issue.
