LOVE this machine!

bought the Speed Queen AWN432 to replace a 1 year old Whirlpool that quit working. This machine is everything I want in a washer.Pros: First, NO COMPUTERS! (Yay!) It's old school.....set your cycle and push in the knob. Second, REAL HOT WATER not a tepid mix that you get with most high efficiency washers today. OH, and you can leave the lid up while the water is going in--to check the water level or add an item. Third- You can set your water levels. yes there is a bit less water for a extra large load than there was before federal mandates BUT there is a RESET on the water level knob that lets you add more water. Fourth - a stainless steel huge tub which is warranted against rust for 5 years. Fifth-the warranty for parts and labor is THREE years and TEN years on the transmission. Sixth-it is MADE IN AMERICA Seventh-It is far quieter than the Whirlpool it replaced. Although my machine is in an exterior room, I would have no hesitations about having it in my house.Cons: haven't found any yetI ordered mine on amazon from a store in New York. It arrived in one week by a trucking service they use. It arrived in perfect condition. When my Whirlpool dryer gives out I will be buying a Speed Queen gas dryer.

Have had 2 other washers in 3 years,both couldn't hold a candle to this machine.This washer is throw back to the old days,load it and let it do its magic.free delivery and no tax.Wonderful !!!!

After the nightmare of a time I had with my previous machine (read my review for a GE machine) this machine was exactly what I was looking for. A washer that actually washes clothes--what a concept! It fills up all the way with actual HOT water (not government mandated tepid water) doesn't have a locking lid, doesn't have lights, a motherboard or any extra electronic parts to potentially fail and you don't need any special detergents. The biggest plus for our family is that it can handle washing and rinsing cloth diapers. The delicate cycle can also handle hand-wash only clothes. A great machine that does what it says it will do and made in the USA! Finally!
