I've Finally Found One That Really Works.

I have an old family recipe for Potato Kluskis that calls for grated potatoes. The potatoes have always been grated by hand which is time consuming and laborious. I could never find a food processor or gadget that could provide the same results as the hand grating required for this recipe. This electric grater really works and it is fast and effective. It does a one potato in about 3 seconds. The results are just as good or better than doing it by hand. You get what you pay for and more with this gadget. Well worth it to me.

The potato grater worked just as I hoped it would. I can grate enough potatoes for potato pancakes for my wife and I in about one minute. It is very easy to clean afterwards also. When I make a large batch of sour beef and dumplings again, it will be a lifesaver. No more grated fingers and fingernails. The dumplings are made with half cooked and mashed potatoes and half peeled and grated raw potatoes. I used about 5lbs. of each when making a large batch of dumplings.

Purchased this grater so that I could make traditional Ukrainian Potato Pancakes and also homemade sauces and such. Works wonderfully. Grates very very fine; no need for a finer blade. Easy to clean as well. The instruction book is written in another language, but, with some broken English help. Not too hard to figure out how to use it though. I would recommend it to others...in fact, purchasing a second one for my Dad!
