For increased efficiency and reliability we use R-410A refrigerant, running on 115V power supply, with 1110 watt capacity. This unit uses a digital thermostat, with 4 fan speed options and 4 way directional louvers. Additional features include a remote control, energy saving mode and washable and reusable filter.

Works great, quiet running,

This is a nice-looking AC and it's much quieter than our other AC Haier HWF05XCK 5,000K BTU Room Air Conditioner which is only a 5,000 BTU. We have a large open living room with high ceilings and an attached kitchen and our 5,000 btu AC wasn't enough to keep our whole house cool. So, we decided to put this AC in our living room where we sleep in the summer and put our smaller unit in our bedroom, as this year has been so hot and humid already, we needed a larger AC unit for our living room.So, far this AC has been working great. Our smaller unit blew the cold air up as the vents were at the top of the unit and what I like better about this unit is that the cool air comes straight out from the vents, which works much better for our house because, we have very high ceilings.Within, minutes after running this we could tell the difference in temperature in both our large, open living room and our attached kitchen. From the product information this unit is supposed to cool up to 500 square feet. Another thing I like about this unit is it's Energy Star approved. I also, love that it has a remote control, as sometimes if we run it at night, it gets cooler, so I can turn it down without getting out of bed.As for the installation, it was very simple. The unit is equipped with all the tools you need for secure window installation. This air conditioner is designed to be mounted in windows between 23 to 36 inches wide. The installation kit includes a window sash seal and foam gasket, two accordion panels, a top-mounting rail and seal strip, and a screw set. So all you really need is a Phillips head screwdriver. Though, this unit is very heavy, it's over 75 pounds, so you might need help installing it.This unit is a great price here, I paid close to $500 for my unit. Overall, I'm very happy with this AC and I'd purchase it again.Here are some of the features (taken from the manufacturers website):*Remote Cooling: The remote control features a built-in thermostat sensor that you can use to assess the temperature of a particularly hot area of your room. This is my 2nd Soleus Air window air conditioner product. What can I say other than this was well worth the money and investment. I have zero complaints about this unit and will continue to buy Soleus products in the future when the need arises.

When I needed an A/C, as most people do, I immediately was inclined to purchase the Brand name and more expensive product. However, I couldn't resist the amazing deal on this A/C and boy do I not regret it! Not only is the item full of higher end features (Auto mode is personal favorite!), but for the price and ENERGY EFFICIENCY, I've been absolutely floored! A month in, my living room and kitchen are cool and my electric bill hasn't skyrocketed!
